We picked the name “Homeward,” as a statement to our mission as a company. We have committed ourselves to creating sustainable spaces, unlocking the potential of each and every home we set foot in.
The Homeward team is composed of local Indiana Hoosier natives. YOUR community is OUR community. We are highly trained in understanding the soil types and foundation types of the homes in Indiana. We have incredibly extensive knowledge of landscaping, hardscaping, waterproofing, and foundations. You want a professional yard drainage contractor working through these problems on your home, not a plumber or a landscaper. Homeward Environmental is the right choice, as we look at the big picture.
Everyone who owns a home or property in Indiana knows how difficult it is to deal with the clay soils. In northern Indianapolis we’ve got solid clay, which holds water and does very poorly with water saturation. Clay soils EXPAND when wet, and SHRINK when dried up. This causes severe movement in the land around your home or building. Hydrostatic pressure build up is terrible for a home, now add in the ever moving soils and that is a recipe for disaster. We consider all of these things when designing a yard drainage system for a home or property. Once you go further south in Indiana, you start getting into the rocky soils. These soils are VERY difficult to excavate at times, and it's imperative to make sure your yard drainage is installed properly without any corners being cut.
